Payment issues
When making international payments, your issuing bank may block the transaction for security reasons. This is a protective measure.
Recommendation 1: Notify your bank in advance. Advise the buyer to call their issuing bank’s customer service before shopping, informing them that “you are about to make an overseas online transaction of [amount] in [currency],” and request authorization for this transaction.
Recommendation 2: Verify online and international payment functionality. Confirm whether your credit card has activated “online payments” and “international payments” features.
Recommendation 3: Review payment limits. Ensure your credit card’s “single transaction limit” and “daily transaction limit” are sufficient.
Recommendation 4: Try an alternative card. Occasionally, a specific card may fail authorization. Switching to another card (even from the same bank) may resolve the issue.
